Where else is better than New York City to get influence on the latest Fashion trends? Since being here on the east coast I must say my taste has evolved into what I call 'effortless chic', It's classy & put together, yet simple and doesn't look like your trying, and most importantly COMFORTABLE. Places like JCrew, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor Loft, Anthropologie, andMadewell have all the key pieces in there store fronts that fit the 'effortless chic' look I've molded into these last few months.
This fashion influence I'm under has driven me to blog about it... ENJOY.
As I'm sure all true fashionista's know, being stylish doesn't come at a cheap price! The key is to find inspiration from certain lines of clothing. Locate the key items that are necessary to purchase and worth the splurge, but other simple pieces can be found at a bargain. Places like Forever 21, H&M & Charlotte Russe are great for the little details to tie together your complete look. Below I have taken looks that inspire me from various 'high end' clothing stores & found certain pieces of that look you can find at a bargain store.
JCrew; Madras Popover, $72.00

American Eagle; Camp Shirt, $34.50

JCrew; Braided leather belt, $45.00

JCrew; Chambray Eyelet Skirt, $79.50

Target; Classic Heritage Shirt, $15.00

[The Target shirt is the same gingham print, just larger, but I think it could even make the look better.]
